Merylee Heggem
Merylee Heggem draws from years of experience to her role as a Marketing Consultant. Since 2012, she has been helping marketing clients accomplish their goals. Merlyee earned a degree in Marketing & Management, got her foot in the door with marketing technology and inbound marketing, and has never looked back. She previously worked as a Marketing Consultant, Project Manager, and on the operational side managing systems & logistics prior to bringing her talents and expertise to the positive company culture at Millikan Consulting.
Merylee was raised in small-town Montana, where work was disguised as play, and has always felt at home working hard to achieve goals. Her love for people stems from growing up in an interconnected community, where everyone knows your name — connection remains at the core of her value system. Her thorough nature impresses clients and colleagues alike — not only her precise ability to identify and prioritize details, but also her forward-thinking mindset, solving future problems before they even arise. Merylee has earned certifications as a Salesforce Administrator, Cloud Coach Administrator (SFDC App), Marketo Certified Expert, and Marketo Certified Solutions Architect (MCSA).

+ What's a typical workday like for you?
When possible, I like to get some yoga in before work to start the morning feeling calm and collected, but my newborn doesn't always allow for that these days! Without yoga, espresso is a must. I usually plan my day out the day before — I live and die by my calendar and detailed to-do list; I have time blocked to check emails, tackle any project, big or small, meetings, and personal time. Then I wrap up the day by planning the next, and on it goes! I've learned that starting with the biggest challenge makes sure the task doesn't loom over my day, and I feel accomplished early on.
+ What past glories would you like to share (or hide?)
I was co-valedictorian of my high school, but that feels a bit dated — ha! My high school mascot made it on David Letterman's list of worst mascots — the Chinook Sugarbeeters.
+ Where might you be found on the weekends?
Usually outside: rivers in the summer, mountains in the winter. However, I also enjoy a lazy Sunday on the couch, having a Netflix marathon curated by my husband. We're two peas in a pod and we just had a daughter this summer!
+ What would be your personal motto?
You get out of this world what you put into it!
